Originally from just outside London, England — in the US since 2003, and excited to call Walla Walla my new home.
My wife Shira and I have two sons — Alex, who plays soccer at Whitman College, and Sam, currently studying in Lyon, France.
We lived just outside Washington DC for 22 years before making the move to the Pacific Northwest — a decision we haven't looked back on for a second.
Off the clock you'll find me 4-wheeling in my old 4Runner or exploring the Northwest in our travel trailer — and always with Alfie, our Springer Spaniel, who is pretty much the center of our lives.
As empty-nesters in the DC metro area, my wife and I decided the time was right to move on. Our son Alex is at Whitman and when we dropped him off in 2024 we knew this was the place for us. The landscape is extraordinary, the wineries are world-class, but the best surprise has been how wonderful and welcoming the community has been.
